The Story Of J.C. Stanford & Son Inc.

J.C. (Chuck) Stanford grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, with a passion for building that started early. As a child, his mom even had to enforce a “no hammering before 9 AM” rule. That passion never faded. Through hard work and determination, Chuck trained with the Carpenters Union in the 1980s and, by 22, was running the carpenters’ shop for industry leader W.W. Gay—earning every step on his own merit.

In 1997, Chuck founded J.C. Stanford & Son Inc. From the ground up, he built a company and a team on integrity, quality, and hard work—values that continue to guide us today. Since then, we’ve grown tremendously, expanding our team, capabilities, and geographic reach across Florida and the Southeast. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a trusted partner for major industrial and commercial clients across the Southeast, serving companies like Coca-Cola, Georgia Pacific, Amazon, Bacardi, Pepsi Co., Revlon, Maxwell House and many more.

Still family-run, we bring those same values to every project. Chuck hasn’t just built a business—he’s built a legacy. A company built to last, serving generations of clients, employees, and communities.

Our reputation is built on long-standing relationships, earned by showing up, delivering quality work, and doing the right thing—time and time again.
